Dr. Tavel is proud to be involved with numerous organizations throughout the Indiana communities where we’re located. Since Dr. Tavel began his eye care practice in 1940, the state of Indiana has grown and changed immensely be it with technology, the landscape and infrastructure, and means of communication. The optical industry has grown and changed too and Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care has adjusted and kept up with the changes to consistently provide the best eyecare and eyewear to Hoosiers…and that’s a promise from the doctor!®
A promise from Dr. Tavel that hasn’t changed since our first office opened is our genuine interest in the communities and people we serve. Dr. Tavel’s interest has always been to help others and as a company we strive to make a difference in big and small ways for Hoosiers in need and others across the globe.
Thus Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care gives back to community programs each year in the form of monetary donations as well as company-wide collection efforts for things like glasses for Haiti survivors to school supplies for area Indianapolis Public School students in need.
