Dr. Marian Longo began her career as an optometrist in 2011 and has been practicing at Dr. Tavel since 2022. She practices at our Avon, IN and Mooresville, IN offices. Dr. Longo graduated with a BS in Visual Science from Loyola University Chicago, and a Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry. She is an expert in ocular disease, ocular emergencies, foreign body removal, and pediatrics (3+). She is AOA and IOA certified.
When asked why she enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. Longo said “Dr. Tavel is a workplace where you can truly be yourself and enjoy what you do.”
Dr. Longo describes herself as “eclectic by nature.” Her hobbies include snuggling her pet rabbits, propagating houseplants, traveling abroad, and going to the local range.
