Dr. J. Michael Jones began his career as an optometrist in 1990 and has been practicing at Dr. Tavel since 2004. He practices at our Muncie, IN office. Dr. Jones graduated with a BS in Optometry Science from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. He is an expert in ocular disease and is AOA and IOA certified.
When asked why he enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. Jones said that he loves working with a diverse group of people in a small town setting.
In his free time, Dr. Jones love spending time with his wonderful family- his wife and two children. He also enjoys reading and playing strategy games.
