Dr. Abigail David began her career as an optometrist in 1997 and has been practicing at Dr. Tavel since 2022. She is a floating doctor and practices at several of our offices in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. David graduated with a BS in Optometry from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is an expert in contact lenses and is AOA and IOA certified.
When asked why she enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. David said “I love working as part of team of doctors dedicated to providing excellent vision and ocular health care to all Hoosiers.”
Dr. David has participated in more than 20 vision mission trips in the US and many other countries. She also enjoys playing cello in her free time.
