Dr. Tavel is committed to helping Indiana communities by assisting nonprofits and other organizations that positively impact the neighborhoods we serve.

To make this happen, we proudly participate in a variety of community programs each year in the form of monetary donations, complimentary vision screenings, hands-on education, silent auction items, and company-wide community outreach events. Our team regularly provides free vision screenings, participates in local and regional health fairs, and contracts with an array of employers to offer discount programs and Safety Eyewear in the communities we serve.

On Site Vision Screenings

We bring vision care directly to the community with on-site vision screenings, helping people of all ages identify potential vision concerns and prioritize their eye health.

Back to School and Health Fairs

Clear vision is essential for success in the classroom and beyond. We provide on-site vision screenings for schools, educational resources, and help families schedule exams.

Preferred Provider Programs

We partner with local businesses and organizations to offer accessible eye care options, ensuring employees and members receive quality eyecare services.

Gift of Sight

Through our Gift of Sight program, our goal is to remove cost as a barrier to corrected, healthy vision. We're committed to give away free pairs of glasses and eye exams to Hoosiers in need.

Indy’s Child Camp Fair

Dr. Tavel was excited to be part of the Indy’s Child Camp Fair, helping families prepare for a fun and safe summer! We provided free vision screenings, scheduled eye exams, and gave away sunglasses while teaching kids about the importance of UV protection for their eyes.

Brookside Elementary School Backpack Giveaway

Dr. Tavel was proud to support the Brookside Elementary School #54 Back to School Backpack Giveaway, presented by the Mayor’s Latino Advisory Council! We helped families schedule eye exams, handed out back-to-school swag, and connected Spanish-speaking families with offices with bilingual staff.
