The word “stye” is thrown around quite a bit when talking about eye discomfort, but what exactly are they?

More often than not, a stye will heal and disappear on its own. To speed up the process and help with discomfort, apply a hot compress on the eye multiple times a day for several days.
If you develop this eye condition fairly frequently, visit a Dr. Tavel location. Your eye doctor can prescribe an antibiotic to help prevent the constant occurrence of a stye.
