Are Drugstore Reading Glasses Safe?

While buying drugstore reading glasses may be a cost-effective replacement to bifocals or prescription glasses, they are not necessarily able to meet your eye needs.

According to WebMD.com, vision varies from one eye to the other. Store-bought reading glasses, will not hurt anything, but they do not  allow you to see as clearly as you could with prescription glasses.

Come visit one of Dr. Tavel’s 19 locations for more information about prescription glasses and bifocals.
