Dr. Andrea Dobbins began her career as an optometrist at Dr. Tavel in 2024 and practices at our Columbus, IN office. Dr. Dobbins graduated with a BS in Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington, an MS in Biology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is an expert in ocular disease and is AOA certified.
When asked why she enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. Dobbins said “I enjoy working at Dr. Tavel because every staff member works together as a part of a team. Each staff member has their own roles and duties but all of us work together to provide the best experience for the patient.”
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Nick. Her favorite vacation that they have went on so far together is to Honolulu, Hawaii. She is also a huge animal lover and has a little French Bulldog named Greta.
