Dr. Aaron Cooke began his career as an optometrist at Dr. Tavel in 2011 and practices at our Greenwood, IN office. Dr. Cooke graduated with a BS in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. He is an expert in primary care and ocular disease.
When asked why he enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. Cooke said “Dr. Tavel has been a great place to provide patient care as I feel the organization has really worked to ensure we are given every opportunity and tool we need to maximize our skills to make our patients lives better.”
In his free time, Dr. Cooke loves to travel and is always looking to escape to warm, sunny weather when it is winter in Indiana. He is also a self-proclaimed “car nerd” and finds wandering around car lots at the end of a work day to be a great way to decompress.
