Dr. Hannah Barker began her career as an optometrist in 2020 and has been practicing at Dr. Tavel since 2021. She practices at several of our Indianapolis, IN offices. Dr. Barker graduated with a BS in Biology from Hanover College, and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is an expert in ocular disease and is IOA certified.
When asked why she enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. Barker said, “I really enjoy working at Dr. Tavel because of the people who work here and the environment it provides. Working in an organization such as Dr. Tavel allows me to work along side a highly skilled group of doctors and great support staff everyday.”
In her free time, Dr. Barker enjoys playing pickleball in the evenings after work or trying out new or favorite local restaurants around town. She is also an avid sports fan, having played soccer in college and is a huge IU Basketball fan.
