Dr. Anna Slemp began her career as an optometrist in 2017 and has been practicing at Dr. Tavel since 2024. She practices at our Beech Grove – Indianapolis, IN office. Dr. Slemp graduated with a BA in Chemistry from Hope College, and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is an expert in ocular disease and is AOA and IOA certified.
When asked why she enjoys working at Dr. Tavel, Dr. Slemp said, “I enjoy working with the office staff and the relationships we’ve formed. We truly are a team that is here to take the best care of our patients, and each team member that I work with embraces that philosophy.”
In her free time, Dr. Slemp enjoys reading and quilting. She taught herself to quilt in 2020 and has made 8 quilts so far. However, she spends most of her time keeping up with her busy toddler!
